Looking for a place with delicious food and friendly service? Look no further than this hidden gem! The menu may be simple, but the flavors are anything but. The staff here are so attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. I decided to try the original yuk gae jang with ramyun and added soft tofu, while my husband went for the brisket buckwheat noodle cold soup. My dish was piping hot and packed with flavor - they definitely didn't skimp on the ingredients here! My husband enjoyed his cold soup as well, but we both agreed that my dish was the winner. Don't forget to try their fish cake and kimchi banchan - they were the perfect side dishes to complement our meal. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with a visit to this place!

When I stumbled upon Yuk Dae Jang in Kearny Mesa, I was thrilled to see one of my favorite Korean restaurants from Rowland Heights also had a location here. The mandu and rice cake soup is exactly what I needed on a chilly day - it's comforting and flavorful. But let me tell you, the pork belly bossom stole the show. It's tender, juicy, and paired perfectly with the assortment of side dishes provided. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this dish. The staff at Yuk Dae Jang were fantastic - friendly and on top of everything we needed. Overall, it's a great spot to enjoy some Korean comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere. Make sure to visit soon!

Hey there! If you're looking for a spot that's bustling with good vibes, this place is definitely it. I was amazed at how smoothly everything ran despite the busy crowd. The ordering system is on point - they take your order while you wait for a table, so by the time you're seated, your food is already on its way to your table. I can't recommend the Bossam and YukGaeJang with Ramyun enough. The ramen noodles are just the right amount of soft and chewy, perfect for warming you up on a chilly evening. And let me tell you, the Bossam is thinly sliced and so moist and tender, it's a real treat. The sides that come with it are a great match for the pork belly. Oh, and if you go for the bigger portion, it all comes out on a steaming tray - talk about a feast! Sure, the banchan options are a bit limited, but what they do have is seriously tasty. So if you're in the mood for some Korean comfort food done right, this place is where it's at. Enjoy!

Hey there fellow foodies! Let me tell you about my recent trip to this incredible Korean restaurant in San Diego. First off, the service was top-notch - quick, attentive, and always with a smile. But let's get to the main event - the food. I have tried my fair share of Korean cuisine in this city, and let me tell you, this place blew me away. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and had the perfect balance of textures. And bonus points for being easy on the throat, which is essential during those chilly days when your throat is feeling rough. But the standout dish for me was the braised spicy beef ribs. Oh my goodness, I can't even put into words how delicious it was. The beef was packed with flavor, had a nice kick of spice, and was incredibly tender. I couldn't stop myself from devouring every last bit. So if you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You won't regret it! Happy eating!
